The book I’m reading right now is Break, by Hannah Moskowitz.

SYNOPSIS - (From Goodreads)
Jonah is on a mission to break every bone in his body. Everyone knows that broken bones grow back stronger than they were before. And Jonah wants to be stronger—needs to be stronger—because everything around him is falling apart. Breaking, and then healing, is Jonah’s only way to cope with the stresses of home, girls, and the world on his shoulders. When Jonah’s self-destructive spiral accelerates and he hits rock bottom, will he find true strength or surrender to his breaking point?

THOUGHTS
Break is really good, but pretty depressing at the same time. Its different from everything else I’ve read before. And I really like that! Jonah and Jesse are interesting characters. I read Invincible Summer a few weeks ago and loved it. Hannah Moskowitz is amazing! I love her writing style, its sad to know that she only has two books out right now. Anyways, I can’t wait to read the rest of Break!

QUOTE FROM PAGE 100
“Abuse.
I think about what this word means.
I mean, obviously this chick thinks my parents hit me. And I know they never have.
But if I flinch every time they reach toward me, is that just as bad?
If my baby brother won’t stop crying?
If I know, flat-out know, they they could take better care of Jesse, that they use him as an excuse to fight… you can’t convince me that that’s not just as bad.”
