SYNOPSIS - (From Goodreads)
Godspeed was fueled by lies. Now it is ruled by chaos.
It’s been three months since Amy was unplugged. The life she always knew is over. And everywhere she looks, she sees the walls of the spaceship Godspeed. But there may just be hope: Elder has assumed leadership of the ship. He’s finally free to enact his vision – no more Phydus, no more lies.
But when Elder discovers shocking news about the ship, he and Amy race to discover the truth behind life on Godspeed. They must work together to unlock a puzzle that was set in motion hundreds of years earlier, unable to fight the romance that’s growing between them and the chaos that threatens to tear them apart.
In book two of the Across the Universe trilogy, New York Times bestselling author Beth Revis mesmerizes us again with a brilliantly crafted mystery filled with action, suspense, romance, and deep philosophical questions. And this time it all builds to one mind-bending conclusion: They have to get off this ship.
THOUGHTS
You may think that the sequel to the Across the Universe Series won’t be as good as the first novel, but you’re wrong. A Million Suns is indescribable; I can’t explain how much I loved this book!
The novel picks up when Amy is three months onto the ship and WOW, has things happened in the past three months. But things only get from bad to worse. I couldn’t believe what was reading.
Beth Revis really stressed how strong Amy was as the only human from Sol-Earth and how Elder was as a leader to the ship. I absolutely loved reading from both of their point of views!
Unexpected twists and turns appear when you least expect it, and you’ll be thinking, “Did that really just happen?” Even at the worst of times Revis will keep you reading because you’ll be dying to know what’s going to happen next. I know I was!
One of my favorite things about A Million Suns was all the imagery! Revis included a lot of beautiful descriptions in both of her novels, which was great. I hope to see more in the third novel. ![]()
Recommended for everyone who read Across the Universe. You absolutely have to read it without any hesitation. It’ll be SO worth it! Across the Universe is the first novel in the series, so I suggest you read that first! Also recommended for all science fiction, mystery, and space-lit fans!

Hi there! This post couldn’t be written any better! Reading through this post reminds me of my previous room mate! He always kept talking about this. I will forward this article to him. Pretty sure he will have a good read. Thank you for sharing!
I just hope its more fast paced then ATU and the ending packs more of a punch. Honsetly by the end of ATU I wanted to throw it at the wall. However, I have hope! Yay for tuesday!
