Airhead starts off as Emerson Watts (also known as Em), her best friend Christopher, and her sister, Frida, going to the grand opening of SoHo’s Stark Megastore to see Frida’s celebrity crush, Gabriel Luna. It’s not the story you would expect it to be: a big accident happens that includes Em and Nikki Howard colliding as a speaker hanging from the ceiling fall on top of them. The story unfolds after this dramatic accident.
Being Nikki, the sequel to Airhead, continues as Em deals with the dramatic change in her life. With a new lifestyle, Em is overwhelmed.
My opinion on the book(s): I enjoyed both of them very much. This book was easy to understand and I caught on quickly. I recommend this series to people who enjoy reading Meg Cabot books. This is a series where you will not be disappointed! Both books will leave you hungry for more.
Runaway, the third book of the Airhead series will be available in May 2010.
