Ethan has been having nightmares of a girl, and he doesn’t know why. One day, Ethan sees the girl that he’s been dreaming about in a long, black hearse, Ethan is determined to find out why they have such a strong connection. Ethan finally meets Lena Duchannes, and as he learns more about her, secrets reveal, and their relationship changes. Lena is cursed because of her ancestors, and can’t do anything about it. When Ethan finds out he can lose Lena, Ethan is about to do everything he can to save her from the curse.
My opinion: I thought Beautiful Creatures was amazing. Before I started to read Beautiful Creatures, I thought “Wow, I haven’t read a book this long since I read Twilight!” It’s true, I’ve been reading books with 250+ pages, so I forgot what it was like to read a 500+ page book. I finished Beautiful Creatures faster than I expected; three days, which is how many days it usually takes me to read a book. The number of pages in Beautiful Creatures didn’t seem to matter, I would have enjoyed this book short or long! When I started to read Beautiful Creatures, I didn’t know what to expect. The synopsis only talked about a curse, so I didn’t think it would be about vampires, wolves, faeries, etc. Turns out, Beautiful Creatures is based on witchcraft, spells, and casting. I haven’t read anything like Beautiful Creatures, so it was very exciting to read. I recommend this book to everyone, even guys should try this out! This story is based on Ethan’s point of view, so I think everyone will enjoy reading Beautiful Creatures!
