In Catching Fire, by Suzanne Collins, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark have just won the Hunger Games. They should be happy, but their not; rumors have been spreading about rebellion, and the Capitol is angry, Katniss’ relationship with Gale dramatically changes, and Peta has also changed. Katniss thought life would be easier, since she has survived a life-taking game, but Katniss is taken on another adventure that can change her life-again.
My opinion: I have to say Catching Fire was alright. To be honest, The Hunger Games is my favorite book out of the series. Both books had action, but The Hunger Games had a little more. I wasn’t exactly disappointed nor surprised; maybe in the middle. I loved the ending though, it was really interesting. Now I look forward to reading Mocking Jay, and I will hope that it will be better than Catching Fire.
