Evernight, By Claudia Gray, is the beginning of the bestselling Evernight series. This book is about teenager, Bianca, who moves into a spooky town and has to go to creepy the Evernight Academy. It looks like its been built in Medieval times, because the school is a huge looking castle. What’s worse is that her parents are teachers at the school! Bianca is ready to run away and show her parents that she isn’t ready for this change. She changes her mind when she runs into Lucas, a guy who is also new to Evernight. Bianca is ready to take on Evernight Academy, as long as she has Lucas, but he tells her to be careful, especially around him. Bianca thought that she will be the one who will fear Lucas, but now she is the one who will be feared.
My opinion: I was very impressed with Evernight. I thought it would be a typical vampire story, but its not. When I thought something would happen when I read the book, the opposite would happen instead. Evernight was a great book, and I am definitely going to read the next book, Stargazer. For those who want a vampire story with twist, they should read this book. And for those who love vampires, they should definitely read this too. I am sure you won’t be dissappointed with Evernight, because I know I loved reading it.
