Go Ask Alice, is a diary written by a fifteen year old anonymous girl getting dragged into the drug world. Before all this happened, this teenager was fine, she was a living a normal life, the way a normal teenager would live. Though one day while at a party, fourteen bottles of coke were set out and ten of the bottles had LSD in them. The teenager had gotten one out of the ten bottles, and started to use drugs ever since. The drugs started to ruin her life, and caused her to do things that she never thought would happen. The teenage girl starts to deal drugs to young children, and runs away from home with a friend. Months later, the teenage girl forces herself to stop using drugs and decides to go back to her family.
My opinion: I really enjoyed reading Go Ask Alice. This young girl’s journey is unforgettable and sad. I read this 214 page book in one night, wishing that it was longer. The ending was horrible, though I expected this ending to happen. I recommend this book to all teens because I guarantee that all of you will love reading it.
