If I Stay by, Gayle Forman is about seventeen-year old Mia. One day, Mia and her family go on a drive and everything changes. Mia is forced to make a choice: to stay, or not to stay? Mia thinks hard about that choice: if she stays, everything will be alright. She will have her friends, her family, her great boyfriend, and her love for music. If she leaves, she will lose everything she has now.
My opinion on the book: If I Stay was not what I expected. I thought the story would be something else, but its not. It was way different! I was surprised that it wasn’t the way I thought it would be, but the book turned out to be really good. I enjoyed reading it and I hope that Mia stays. If I Stay is surprising, unexpected, and an amazing story. If I Stay is now one of my favorite books.
