Judging Its Cover (Week 1)

I have finally went to the library! I think its been about a month and a half since I’ve went. I didn’t ever think I would have been able to do that. Since I am promising myself that I will go to the library every week, I’ve decided to start something new called “Judging Its Cover.” (This was inspired by “In My Mailbox” over at TheStorySiren.) Judging Its Cover will be about the books you would want to read, are about to read, or just want to talk about. So feel free to join in and to link back!

To start off, I have just checked out Wish, by Alexandra Bullen; The Dark Divine, by Bree Despain; and Mermaid Park, by Beth Mayall from the library. I haven’t started reading any of it, so before I do, I am going to “judge its cover.”

Wish: I think that Wish will be a really good book. The cover is so pretty, which is probably one of the reasons why I chose to read this. (Haha.) Though the main reason why I chose to read this book is because it has just been published, and I thought I should give it a try. This seems like a fiction novel.

The Dark Divine: The cover of The Dark Divine is nice, the purple and the black go really well together. I’m not sure how I can judge the model of the cover, especially since all you see is her legs. The cover and the name of the book seem like this book would be fiction.

Mermaid Park: Just by the name of the book tells me that this book is going to be fiction. (And about mermaids..) I don’t think I can judge the cover, the cover is just a girl sitting on the beach. So I think i can just judge the name. I haven’t read much about mermaids, so this book will be interesting to read.

Well, this is it for Judging Its Cover! I’ll let you know how I like these books when I review them, so watch out for these future reviews! Be sure to comment on what you think, too! Have a nice day!
