L.A. Candy & Sweet Little Lies, by Lauren Conrad

LA Candy is about two girls from Santa Barbara moving to LA for adventure. Jane Roberts is the main character, supposedly Lauren Conrad. She is in LA to become an event planner, working for the biggest girl in the business, Fiona Chen. Her best friend, Scarlett is there going to school at USC. This is how they get on a TV show. They are at a club, and meet a famous producer and he offers them to go on a big show, named LA Candy with 2 other girls named Madison and Gaby. Its an example on what Lauren Conrad experienced, but I don’t think everything was the exact same things that she went through. If you’re the type that goes for scandal, drama, comedy, and romance, I’d recommend this book to you it was enjoyable to read.

Sweet Little Lies is about Jane’s life after this big scandal that happened, this big scandal turns her into a whole different person to the public. Her and Scarlett’s friendship isn’t very good because Madison does horrid stuff that Scarlett knows about, but Jane doesn’t believe. Jane gains friends and loses some because in LA, you never know who to believe. I don’t want to give so much away, but Jane does have a boyfriend named Jesse. Also, Scarlett finds an actual person she wants to be in a relationship with. Normally she just has hook-ups, but this one guy is real for her. Jane’s life sucks in this book because of so many rumors, drama, and lies. Hence why it is called Sweet Little Lies. Again, if you are interested in scandal, comedy, romance, and drama, I recommend this for you. Only took me a week to read.
