The Twilight Saga, By Stephenie Meyer is, of course, one of my all time favorite series. The Twilight Saga was the first vampire series I’ve read. I was surprised how much I loved reading the saga: I became a big fan of it right away. I finished the series in a month, and it was perfect timing because it was right before the movie came out. I have to say that I am not obsessed with the series or the movie, not like other fans. One thing is for sure: I am not Edward crazy. I think it gets kind of annoying hearing about girls screaming their heads off when they see Edward. I don’t think that they should go crazy over him; he’s just an actor!
I was actually disappointed in the movie. I think that the movie could have been better, it wasn’t what I pictured in my head. They left out scenes that would have been good in the movie, and when they did put scenes from the book, I expected it to be better. Also, Edward acted like he was having trouble talking, he was too stiff. I really hope that New Moon will be better, the trailer really convinced me.
I recommend The Twilight Saga to fans and first time readers of vampires. Don’t hold yourself back by those obsessed fans, I’m sure you’ll love reading it.
