My Soul to Take, by Rachel Vincent, is about Kaylee, who screams when someone is about to die. She can’t control her scream, so she forces herself to hold it in as much as she can. Kaylee just wants to enjoy her life; especially since Nash, “the hottest guy in school” shows some special interest in Kaylee. Little does Kaylee know that Nash knows a lot more of Kaylee’s “condition” more than she does. Then teenage girls start dropping dead-literally. While Kaylee and Nash try to figure out what’s really going on, Kaylee is the only one who can determine who is going to die next. And its not who she expected it to be.
My opinion: I can’t believe I’ve been missing out on My Soul to Take! I’ve been hearing SO much of Soul Screamers, I couldn’t take it anymore! I finally checked out My Soul to Take and started to read it right away. My Soul to Take was so unique and different, I loved reading it. There was nothing I disliked about My Soul to Take, so I recommend this to all fiction lovers. I will definitely keep reading the Soul Screamers series!
