Need by Carrie Jones is about teenager Zara White who is obsessed with phobias and has a feeling that someone is stalking her. After her stepfather died, she hasn’t been feeling the same, that is why her mother can’t deal with her. Zara is sent to live with her grandmother in Maine. Even though Maine is supposed to keep her calm, Zara still has a bad feeling that someone is stalking her. Turns out, there is someone stalking her; and he’s leaving gold dust behind. What is following Zara? What’s with all the gold dust? Need will give you a chill up your spine.
My opinion on the book: I thought that Need was pretty good. Though I didn’t really like the book, but I didn’t dislike it either. I’m going to give the next book a try, and hopefully I’ll enjoy it more. I recommend this book to teens who want to try something new… Other than vampires.
