Private, by Kate Brian

privatePrivate, the first book of the bestselling series by Kate Brian is about fifteen-year-old Reed Brennan. Reed receives a scholarship from Easton Academy, an elite boarding school. Reed is more than happy to get into Easton, especially when she needs to get away from her mother. Reed is ready for a new beginning, but Easton Academy wasn’t was she thought it would be. The people at Easton are smarter, meaner, and wealthier than expected. Now, Reed doesn’t feel like she fits in. Not until she meets the Billings Girls: they are sophisticated, beautiful, and confident, everything that Reed wants to be. Reed tries to be noticed by the Billings Girls and to be one of them.

My opinion: I really enjoyed reading Private. I finished reading this in book in one morning. Private is much like The Clique, Pretty Little Liars, and the It Girl series. If you enjoyed reading these books, I’m sure you’ll love reading this series.

Rating: ★★★½☆
