SYNOPSIS – (From Goodreads)
Adopted by the Alpha of a werewolf pack after a rogue wolf brutally killed her parents right before her eyes, fifteen-year-old Bryn knows only pack life, and the rigid social hierarchy that controls it. That doesn’t mean that she’s averse to breaking a rule or two.
But when her curiosity gets the better of her and she discovers Chase, a new teen locked in a cage in her guardian’s basement, and witnesses him turn into a wolf before her eyes, the horrific memories of her parents’ murders return. Bryn becomes obsessed with getting her questions answered, and Chase is the only one who can provide the information she needs.
But in her drive to find the truth, will Bryn push too far beyond the constraints of the pack, forcing her to leave behind her friends, her family, and the identity that she’s shaped?
THOUGHTS
First of all, WOW. Raised By Wolves was AMAZING! Secondly, I can’t believe I haven’t read this before. I mean, what was I THINKING? I knew of the release last year, I’ve seen it all over bookstores, but I don’t know why I haven’t decided to read it back then! And I seriously regret that. I missed out! But that was before. I have finally read Raised By Wolves and I am hooked!
Awesome story line? Check. Awesome characters with awesome personalities? Check. Seriously, what more could you ask for? The fact that Bryn was raised by wolves is so cool. It’s very different from most of the werewolf books out there; it’s not the usual werewolf-falling-love-with-human type of novel. Bryn is now one of my favorite main characters. She has everything I love reading about; a rebellious nature. Also including the sarcasm. You can never get enough of that!
And Chase. Sweet, strong, Chase. One of the reasons why I couldn’t put Raised By Wolves down was because every time Bryn and Chase were apart, I couldn’t stop thinking about when they would see each other again! Every page and chapter just kept me thinking, “Okay they’re going to see each other now. They HAVE to see each other now.” I think they are a great couple! Jennifer Lynn Barnes has created such great characters.
I haven’t read books on werewolves for a while, so Raised By Wolves is a really good refresher about how much I love werewolves and wolves! I’m so happy that I decided to read Raised By Wolves; but sad that no one has told me that I’ve missed out! If you haven’t read it yet (you probably have, I’m like the last person on earth who read this last) you should pick up your own copy as soon as you can. Especially if you’re a fan of Shiver!
Rating:

Great review! I just got this book not too long ago! I can’t wait to read it now! Aw, Chase sounds adorable!
And I LOVED Shiver! It was so cute! I was going to review it, but never got around to it. I think I’ll do that, though.
Thanks for the review!
