Shiver, by Maggie Stiefvater is about two people who’ve known each other for six years, but have never met. Grace, shy and quiet, has been watching the wolves behind her house all her life. But only one wolf, feels like the closest. Sam is a guy who is living two lives: as a wolf, Sam has been watching Grace from a distance, and as a human, Sam has never dared to talk to Grace, until now. Grace and Sam develop a relationship that becomes dangerous for both of them, even for the others around them. More humans are turning into wolves and its almost time for Sam to go. Will they risk their lives to be together? Or will they go their separate ways?
My opinion: I really enjoyed reading Shiver. I was even more excited since it was about wolves. Nothing about Shiver made me bored. Shiver always kept me thinking and I was dying to get to the end. I finished Shiver in a day, and I am now waiting for the second book of the series. You will not be disappointed if you enjoyed reading Twilight. Move over, Edward, its Jacob’s turn!
