The Ashleys, a series by Melissa de la Cruz is about three girls, all named Ashley, who all rule Miss Gamble’s Preparatory School for Girls. They have it all: the looks, the money, and of course, the popularity. Whatever the the Ashleys want, the Ashleys get. Lauren Page has been going to school with the Ashleys ever since kindergarten, and its been the same since. Lauren refuses to be ignored and beaten by the Ashleys. That is why she has tried the hardest to go over the top, and show the Ashleys what she’s made of.
My opinion: I thought that The Ashleys was a pretty good series. The Ashleys are all crazy girls! They are mean, selfish, and always getting what they want. Before I started this site, I was at the library looking for something to read. I decided to pick a book randomly, and I picked The Ashleys. I was really glad that I picked this book because if I didn’t, I wouldn’t know about my favorite author, Melissa de la Cruz. The Ashleys is similar to all realistic fiction books such as Gossip Girl, The It Girl, and The Clique. If you like these series, you’ll love The Ashleys!
