SYNOPSIS
The It Girl, by Cecily von Ziegesar is a spin-off series from The Gossip Girl Series. Jenny Humphrey, now a sophomore in high school, has moved to Waverly Academy to get away from a past that ruined her life back in New York. Jenny was thrilled to get away because she got a fresh start: a new school, new people, and a new life. She had nothing to worry about, right? Just as she got to Waverly Academy, rumors started to wander around the school. Not only do people know about her past, she gets caught doing something that can get her expelled for. Jenny is caught in the middle again and she has to find a way out.
THOUGHTS
I thought that The It Girl was a great book. It was shorter than I thought it would be, but I still enjoyed it. The It Girl kept me thinking all throughout the book, and the ending was very unexpected. I will definitely keep reading the series! I recommend this series to those who have read Gossip Girl, The Private Series, and The Privileged Series.
