Vampire Academy, the first book of the Vampire Academy Series is a series by Richelle Mead. St. Vladimir is the vampire academy. A school hidden among humans just for, well, vampires. This story is specifically about Rose Hathaway and Moroi Vampire Princess, Lissa. They have escaped the academy and have been dragged back-to the place where they are in most danger. Soon after they become in a forbidden romance, but they have to be careful: the Strigoi, known as the most dangerous vampires in the world, are trying to make Lissa one of them. The adventure begins, and danger endures.
My opinion on the book: I am a big vampire fan, and when I checked this book out of the library, I was very excited to read Vampire Academy. I loved the characters and their personalities. I thought the story and the plot was alright, though it was some-what exciting. I expected Vampire Academy to be better, but I suggest you give this book a try if you are a vampire fan. I hope you enjoy reading it!
