SYNOPSIS – (From Barnes & Noble)
EVERYTHING. CHANGES. NOW.
Imagine you wake up and the world around you-life as you know it-has changed in an instant. That’s what has happened to Whit Allgood and his sister, Whisty. They went to sleep as normal teenagers, and woke up as wanted criminals. Accused of holding incredible powers they’d never dreamed possible. And now, just how different they are-special, even-if just beginning to be revealed in a strange new world.
It begins…now.
THOUGHTS
What would you do if you were just a normal kid one day, and you were woken up by officers to take you away because you were accused of being a criminal? What if you were accused of being a witch or a wizard? I would freak. I don’t know what I would do. Especially since witches or wizards don’t exist. (Or do they..?) Patterson writes about how siblings Whit and Whisty learn that they really ARE witches and wizards and how they have these new cool powers. Whit and Whisty are amazing characters, you’ll fall in love with them, especially if you love sarcasm. But don’t get your hopes up for this new series to be “the next Harry Potter” because its not. Don’t let your expectations lead you to something that its not, or else your going to be in for a let down. Read this book with prejudice and I’m sure you’ll love it way more than reading it with crazy assumptions and all. (I only say this because I make crazy assumptions all the time.) Give Witch and Wizard a shot!
